Thx.
It's a unique car for sure and not very much worth for anyone except myself as it was a salvage. Maybe they had a VIN from a crashed car and needed a shell... but then again this shell has been in an accident so that's no use.

That would be nice... at least for the next month or two if that'd be ok with everyone to stare at for a while.
If anyone, it's US who are always looking for parts, used parts, tuning parts, cars, wheels, anything connected to these - going through all online sales places to find unusual parts, or replacement parts, or good deals etc etc and it's a passion for most of us.
Anyone who comes on here, buys a car, starts right away, slowly in the beginning to ask about service, gremlins, and then we get comfy or bitten with modding and everyone goes into the mode of looking for things for their cars.
I can share easliy that this is getting more and more of a hard blow to keep the spirits up, no sign of the car yet and still so many eyes helping in trying to spot it somewhere. I close my eyes and I know just how the seat, steering, gear lever, throttle response feel. How could I ever want another car, I wasn't 'done' with this car at all, just laid all this work to make it a good platform, to get started to really enjoy it.
Guys, really go over your routines and measures to protect your assets. It's so easy to think "I've never been followed" home, but the time you might have been without thinking about it, is what you think about when it's gone. Also that doesn't always help, because people can still see the car in a garage, on a parking lot, random ppl just driving by "indexing" neighborhoods for potential cars to steal.
It's not the thing we think about enough, until too late.

I would seriously question the shops that have done work recently. Someone knew the value of the car / parts, knew your address, and had the ability to copy the transponder capsule in your remote.. If that is the case, the local shops should be able to tell you if a 996 key was ordered and cut based of computer records.
