Arrow FS: Akrapovic Race exhaust for 997.1/997.2 GT3/RS

Category: Engine - Exhaust
Price: $7000
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits: Porsche 911 997 Non-Turbo
Location (State): FL
Item Condition: Used
Shipping Information: Item can be shipped

Its 3 months old. Was installed on my 2010 GT3 in April 2010. Ive been thinking of switching to a 2008 GT2 now. I have all the original boxes paper, manual, etc. It came with 997.1 and 997.2 mounting brackets, so it can be installed on either Gen GT3. Provided 18 whp and 20 wtq by itself, almost 60 lbs weight savings and an amazing sound. Check the links at the bottom of this post.

Selling for $7000 shipped within the 48 continental US states. This system sells new for just over $10K (without the carbon shade). Carbon shade (only for 997.2 GT3), is about $500 new, I'll sell it for $250. Will ship international at the buyer expense. Payment can be made via paypal (3% domestic/4% international paypal fee not included), or bank wire.

Nice.. Im working on getting a Gt2 as well.. 996 though.. Good luck on the 997 GT2.. Then you can make as much HP as you want..

Id also like to say your car is 1 of the Highest HP GT3's we have ever dyno'd.. This exhaust system is definitely working..

Those Akropovic exhausts are somethin! If I had a GT3 I would have bought this one in a heartbeat. GLWS.

My buddy is in Lauderdale and is looking for an exhaust for his GT3 but $7 G's is way too rich for him. Sounds great through...

Tell him to PM me and to come see it, hear it, in person. It would be great for him to see the quality, feel the difference in power, and hear it in person.

New, this system would cost $9850 (for the system) + $500 Carbon Fiber Shade +$200 shipping + $350 import duty tax = $10,900.00 total. $7000 for a near $11K 3 month old Akrapovic GT3 race titanium exhaust system is not bad, at all. Near $4K savings, $3900 to be exact...

Long time ago, I would think that price was crazy but after seeing the quality, performance and SOUND the Akrapovic race titanium system deliver; its easy to understand.

Technically, a sale is currently pending between 5 serious people. In any case, I'd be more than happy to meet locals to hear/see it in person.

Does he have a .1 or .2 GT3? In either case, it'd be nice to do a side-by-side comparison

Thanks for the quick reply...I will let him know, but knowing my bubby he would think I would be nuts to suggest $7000 for an exhaust. He just picked up an 2011 GT3 RS from Champion. They are suggesting the RSS center by-pass.

Nice. I bought my GT3 from Champion and they installed my Akrapovic system. They know my system .... They cant suggest it because they dont offer Akrapovic. If they did, thats what they'd be telling him to get. Send him the links of the dynos, at the bottom of the first post. A by-pass wont offer those gains, but of course, it all depends what the person is trying to achieve. Just for the hell of it, I went to a 1 mile event with the Akrapovic exhaust installed (no tune), my GT3 ran 11.3 1/4 mile, in comparison, my friend's (stock) LP-560 E-gear (using launch control) ran 11.06 1/4 mile: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...9-773-mph.html
