price drop $1700... i'm practically giving these wheels away at this price. $1700 for a set of ccw

 

These are good wheels, but what's the story on the mix match? how did that happen? why are you selling these?

 

They were all dark bronze tint anodize that started to fade lighter in the centers. The black wheel is 100% new from CCW. CCW replaced that wheel.

 

ah ok...John P is a great dude...I've bought wheels from him before...I'm surprised he did't take the set back and re-anodize them for you. I know the set will require re-finishing to match them up but I am not sure about the refinishing of a wheel which has an anodized surface on it...if that can be done? What that will cost? and how good the results will tunr out and last? THe anodizing process involves charged coating and is not like pant and clearcoat...

actually I love CCW but they shouldn't offer annodized as an option for their wheels. less than a year after purchasing my black annodized C14's they started to stain and fade. I took them to my body shop and they resprayed all four wheels with gloss black paint and clear coat and they look like a million bucks. So yes, you can easily repaint or even powdercoat these wheels with an annodized finish. These wheels are so light also, so good purchase for anyone looking for lightweight race wheels. Good luck with the sale.
