Flush CCW Classics Drag setup
Got my CCWs the other day, mounted up the DRs on them, put the car back in RWD. Changed coil packs and boost hoses, now its ready to go back to Atco for some better times.

18x9.5 with 235/35/ Kumho Excsta XS KU36
18x11.5 with 315/30/18 BFG Drag Radial

Definetly a unique look given there were only 2 or 3 sets of 18" Classics made for 996tt.... according to John the owner of CCW.

Not probably till end of November beginning of December...

DSS wants at least 3 weeks to build me a Chrome molly drive shaft. I am about to quit racing.

John has another speed yellow 996 on his website, I think it looks better (on yours) as these are more aggressive looking IMO. I'll snag a set of these.. eventually. Let me know when you get tired of looking at them

they look great on the car!
any rubbing with the 9.5 front?

Im not sure Jody - they are not heavy but i wouldnt say they are feather lite.

Yes he does - he told me there were only 2 sets made in 18" for 996tt. One race set which is the one I got and one street set which is on that other yellow car. Race sets have different hardware, nuts facing the outside, no centercaps.

Should have done the 16" rears and 17" fronts. 27.5" Drag Radials and front runners!

Yeah I know 16s is where its at. But this is more of "street use" set. I will eventually get 16s too bith big rear tires. BTW what size/brand tires do you use?

MT Street Radial II's. 315/45/16 which is a 27.2" tire. Helped a lot!
