The primary difference is the overall intended application is to allow higher RPM in excess of 8000RPM as seen in the GT3's. The two major problems with this application is proper oiling and strength. This crank addresses both of those. The rod journals are cross drilled (180 Vs 360 degree) which allows oiling of the bearing twice per cycle instead of once. Not rocket science, but it is different from stock TT. It is fully counterweighted. As seen in the photos, the counter weights are much larger and "beefier" than the stock counter weights. i cannot say which weighs more as i do not know. notice the rod journal has been drilled out as an added weight loss technique. I have read that the GT3R crank is heavier but certainly the strength gain and 525g rod weight counters that. The stroke is factory 76.4mm, crank journals are stock 60mm and rod journals are roughly 53mm which is about 2mm less that factory. The rods are custom to fit this journal.
Speaking of rods, these are about the best steel rods you can get regarding weight and strength. They are 127mm center to center and lighter than all the other popular brands but are nearly $2000 new. The rod big end width is about 3mm wider than stock rods again taking advantage of more strength. Nobody knows more about these cranks and this set up than KeVin up at UMW. If you have any ultra detailed questions about it he's the best source.

Nah no rod or crank bearings at this time. It takes the factory GT3 main and rod bearings. But I can certainly get rods or mains.
