OK I will play devils advocate here.. I know it is a first part system.

I do not like the production off the shelf look to the mufflers and the welds look marginal. I am sure they are likely strong but I like Art when it comes to welding. Is the X pipe your own or is a 911 tuning part ???? If it is his then he needs to pull up his socks. If it is you own pull them up. If that is a 911 tuning X pipe then the quality of that item is not up to the level of the items he has on his web page, the welding on his page gets close to my level of expectation.

Sorry I am fussy, I want Titanium material and I want welds that look like they were done by a precision Robot.

I am sorry for being so fussy --> I am an Akrapovic Fan, to me it is hard to beat the quality of there exhausts, there welds usually are near perfection --> 1/2 there welders are females, hmmm and most guys think males are the kings of fabrication. OK OK I know the price is dear on the Akra systems.

What do I really want, I think most 911 turbos do not sound all that Good, Now the center exit GT3's are an exception, they seem to have an exotic growl to them. Can someone produce a turbo system that has that sound yet is not overly loud.

No matter what I am sure the exhaust will function just fine and when it is behind a bumper and covered in road grime it really will not matter, not even to me.

It sounds pretty cool. Very different then before. It has an exotic GT3 like rumble but deeper and ALOT quieter then before. Puts on a nice flame show hehe.

Hehe you like Art? Buy the Rembrandt (Akrapovic). Here is what I like in order of importance to me.

1. Great sound (not loud) with uncompromised performance ( True 3.3" to 3" here, as far as I know only USP did that)
2. Strength and Quality/Durability
3. Innovation rather then limitation and imitation
4. Last but not least price.

I am 25 years old and this is a hobby not my life, I am not going to go and spend 5-6k on an Akrapovic. To be honest even the Markski is pricey for me but at one point I was willing to pay but we both decided not to go through with it.

But hey to each his own. You can take ur 6k and get an akrapovic, lay under the car and admire the welds..... while I manhandle 1000cc bikes with my fabricated exhaust and the $$$ difference going to areas needing improvement in the car

So what do you have for a bike or bikes, I have a few. My longest love is bikes. I do lots of track and dirt.

My Track ride is a tricked out 2009 GSXR1000 and my road ride is a rare European 2006 R1 Le that has way to many tweaks. Ahhh yeah I love to ride.

Either way Good on you young man, not many people your age want to do stuff like fabricate nowadays.

I think he is referring to my thread ? Post #21 in the thread ?

https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...-pressure.html

I have nothing against anyone, I was just looking for some help Tim941NYC came through with some clarification and was nice enough to send me the check valve. When my ordered part arrives in 2-3 weeks, I will hopefully be able to return the favor to someone else one day

Im sure you think I made up my jet lag "excuse"... I traveled a lot 2 prior days... not that it matters, unfortunately I looked at the wrong color coded line with arrows ( blue and red on that ebc drawing)... thank you for pointing out my mistake so graciously AGAIN... your right every time... BTW, I talked over email as that member got a hold of me and I explained it 2 days before that drawing was published correctly... And Mark, well he wanted to hang out when he is in Chicago, beer etc. that type of thing... Im guessing a thank you for just answering calls and emails when he had issues. I did not think that one picture of a few "raw" parts in question that Mark pointed out ( not the whole exhaust like you stated) would cause such a big deal... I guess I was wrong... Again....
BTW, long before this thread was started Mark gave me the opportunity to make the exhaust for him( we mutuality agreed not to go thru with the project)... so I am not angry nor POed that he did his version... I'm glad he is building his own... I meant every word of it...
Most of your comments towards me are demeaning and questionable, you remind me of some FOX news commentators that have nothing to loose and everything to gain...
I refuse to argue and stoop to your level... good luck and here is my boarding pass, yes I really really was abroad and did not sleep for 2 days... I took a few minutes out of the day to actually scan it, upload it, and post it just for you... so you don't think Im just pushing my exhausts...
sorry for taking up space on this thread Mark, I really did not mean it in a negative way... in any way....

Hopefully all of the above is water under the bridge....Tim is a good guy and helpful also,,as he just sent me an IPD big TB plenum for testing and gave me the best deal ever on it if it works out...
With your new exhaust now,,If you wanted it louder couldnt you take 2 of those other 'mufflers' off??
Also,,And to think I thought I was the only guy on this forum to have a reputation for a hostile thread towards somone.....
Its all good.......
