how bad does the car vibrate?

you can feel it from the seat, but it's actually not that bad.
I absolutely love how they changed the car and can live with the little vibration. Our local shop advised me to take them out because they put more stress on the chassis than the rubber mounts.

 

What exactly do these do?

 

They keep the engine from moving left and right when you corner. They make the rear end feel a lot tighter at corner entry and mid corner.

 

Hard to install? Why the added vibrations?

 

I can do it myself in 40 minutes. an extra hand will help when you tighten the main bolt.

You can feel more vibration from the engine because with those mounts, there's no rubber between the chassis and engine carrier. They actually made the exhaust sound a little different too, it's hard to describe. I love the difference they made to the car, but I am not willing to risk it for long term chassis stress.

 

Which shop?

 

Bernie@MB. I also asked James@Scan; he would not recommend either for street use.

 

Wow, that surprises me. James tried to sell me a set a few years ago.

Did you have trouble getting into 3rd on the track sometimes?

 

No trouble at all, transmission on the C2S was very easy to drive.

I am only questioning it because I have a set going in my car next week.

 

are the stock ones on gt3 liquid filled, same ones as turbo?

 

Not sure, I think they are just rubber.

 

I think you will enjoy them either way on the track. I could tell the difference right way between stock and rennline in turns.
