Hi Guys,

I am selling my Protomotive built engine built by Todd Knighton himself for my Porsche 997 Twin Turbo. The reason I'm selling is that I'm going to try a different setup this time.

The engine has been used for 3,500 miles and did 60-130 in 3,9 seconds at mid boost. It's capable of low to mid 3's in high boost. Did 5.2 at 1 bar only. Before putting up for sale, I have opened the engine to control and replaced the block gasket, rod bearings and main bearings with the fresh new ones. So, it's a freshly rebuilt engine. I'm selling it as the shortblock plus the Protomotive regrind cams. The build and the shortblock itself cost me close to $70,000 and close to 9 months, and I'm giving it for $28,000 and immediate shipping.

Just some friendly advice...I would post more details on this engine...as in every little thing you did to it or got done to it.

Why did it need fresh gaskets and seals if it was just rebuilt?
