It's for 996TT period, AWD or 2WD.
The car will perform better regardless if staying AWD or if you convert to RWD.
People running AWD+LSD swear to AWD+LSD being far superior to both AWD w/o LSD as well as RWD+LSD. It's all up to how you use the car and what feel you like. AWD+LSD is obviously a huge improvement over AWD with open diff.

Any LSD is a huge improvement over the open diff on these cars, this one included. I just had the Guard Club 40/60 put on the car. The reason I went with the Guard is that these are the LSD's that RUF was putting in the Rturbos at the factory and Matt is up the road from me. I would highly recommend an LSD but would recommend a transmission cooler installed along with it especially if you plan on tracking the car or driving it hard as gearbox temps will go up 20 degrees or so with an LSD. Most gearbox builders like Copans or Gbox will tell you this. I had the cooler installed on my box. I am AWD currently but will remove the front drive later this week due to the weight. Good luck and enjoy that gorgeous car of yours. BTW, this LSD is a great deal....

If yOu had to pay to install this how much do you think it would be and how involved is it labour wise?
Or is it a simple swap with the stock one?
(resistance is breaking.....resistance is futile!)
Thanks
