Is this tune running 100% wastage from the beginning?

How do you data log one of these cars?

 

997TT doesnt have a wastegate. It uses VTG to control boost. You datalog using a Durametric.

How much boost can the stock turbo's make at 100%?

VR Tuned says there are wastgate actuators? Confused now... Is this only for upgraded turbos?

I am told that you can control them up to 22 psi and after that they will basically run max then can physically run which I am told is 28-30 psi.

Personally I wouldn't take anything Vivid posts seriously .... ever. Whether it had to do with LED lights or Turbos lol. Unless it was advice on how to make chinese knock off parts.

There is no wastegate or wastegate control on 997tt which is why when you upgrade to GT30s you need to purchase an EBC to control the boost and not the stock ECU like 996tt does using a N75 valve. The turbos also have the DV (bypass valves ) which the ECU can open to protect the engine if needed.

Thanks ! Definitely a solid increase over stock, keep in mind this is not letting car adapt or anything. Dyno run, 10 min flash, Dyno run. It needs an exhaust now, you can just hear the air fighting the stock cats and mufflers on the way out.

it took 4 years, 5 sets of turbos, 3 sets of injectors, 3 fuel system revisions, 2 computers to get SpoolBus to this stage. i would like to get the 997 to 800whp.

 

800 you say? Not a difficult task - especially for you.

Quick longer term update on my flash. I now have about a 1000 miles of enjoying the flash. Launch control works great, I've done some 3.5 0-60s on unprepped street. I have also made some 11 sec passes on the vbox. I quickly realized that stock clutch even with 12k babied miles will not be friends with new found power. I sourced a new uprated clutch and will be replacing it soon. Meanwhile I lowered the car on some Champion/H&R Springs and put some 7/15mm spacers on.
