i would recommend a retorque on any head stud IMO

they are not a 12mm stud, do not require machine work
here is the link to them:

if theres no machine work they would have to be 10mm studs. for studs in that diameter 70 ft.lbs torque is about all you can do without distorting the heads. you need bigger studs in length and diameter to allow more torque. the 12mm from evoms use 90 ft.lbs total. protomotive use 11mm at 80 ft/lbs and racewear use 10mm at 60 ft/lbs up from the factory 45 ft/lbs which is what racewear originally used but had lift issues and went slightly higher

evoms don't require a retorque and racewear do after 2 full heat cycles. don't know about the others

I'll have a set later this month of 3.6 OE Pistons, rings have 3 passes on them and the Stock Liners were Oringed. I've decided to go the 3.8 route in pursuit of 1400hp . Let me know if you're interested in anything

Thanks guys, messages sent. At this point I still need to decide on head studs, some gaskets I need, and rod and main bearings. Some guys are saying I shouldn't even split the cases and just put the new rods in, but I'm not so sure about that without a balance. Lol

just my .02 but if your going in deep enough to do rods then crack the case and install all new bearings and seals. balance the assembly.

engine builder service has complete rebuild kits for about 1600$. for head studs I'm using the 12mm evoms studs but this requires machining.
