It would be nice to see the price on these start to get back closer to the $5k to $6k range.

 

As far as I remember, they were never in thay price range, always 10-12k..

 

Suncoast got some in stock a few days ago and they were selling for $9400.
They have since sold out again.

If they could keep them in stock, it would push the used prices down, but it seems as though Porsche only wants to make (or make available) a handful at a time.

 

In 2009/2010 they where around $4k. Then up the $5/$6k in 2012 ish. Suncoast rose their prices to $8k or so in 2013 and now they are still up there.

 

any idea how much each seat weight? versus some other Porsche seats.

Never mind, found the answer from Suncoast.

"each seat weighs 39 lbs, the stock seats are usually over 55 lbs"

IMO 30 lbs aren't worth the high MSRP $$$, but they do offer very good lateral support.

 

lol, We are still in a recession then, 997 GT3 could be brought in the mid 60's to low 70's. There were massive layoffs, people were scared to spend. I could had picked up many properties for half price. Those days are gone and so are the prices.

$6000 is a great price. GWLS
