Sachs 2.5 clutch kit with DMFW - used

Category: Drivetrain
Price: $600
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits: Porsche 911 997 Turbo, Porsche 911 996 Turbo, Older Porsche
Location (State): NV
Item Condition: Used
Shipping Information: Item can be shipped

For sale is a used Sachs 2.5 clutch kit. It was used for about 10k miles on my 996TT, and removed professionally when I switched to to a 4.0RS/LWFW combo. The DMFW has 40k miles on it. Everything was in good working condition when removed.

Parts included:
- OEM DMFW
- Sachs Clutch (part number 88 1864 001 098)
- Sachs 764 pressure plate (part number 88 3082 999 764)
- Sachs throwout bearing

Asking $600 OBO plus shipping for everything. $500 without the DMFW. I think it would all fit into two large USPS flat rate boxes, so shipping will be around $50.

What type of power did you have when running this clutch? Launched? How does this compare to your new setup?

During the time this clutch was in, car had stock turbos and a tune, so nothing crazy for power level. It did do a few track days, but I’m a pretty good driver if that counts for anything. No launches ever.
I think the Sachs 2.5 is a nice OEM like upgrade for modest power increase and track use. Never had any problems with it. The new setup just holds more power and the LWFW feels better, and it chatters.
