I would assume that they won't fit any 996, even a Gt2

Only the GT3RS version - the GT3 rear wheels are for a narrow body while the GT3RS rear wheels have the widebody or TT offset.

RS wheels will fit a GT2 or even a 996tt with out any problems!

i dont think anyone would, but you can use any of the widebody wheels that come with the c4 or targa etc.
i think this is the only 12in rear though, and has the best offset.
