That's a great price. These can go up to 650hp at crank roughly?

Just for interest, what program are running for them?

The compressor section (aka intake or cold side) is OEM K24. The turbine section (hot or exhaust side) is OEM K16. The advantage of the hybrid is quick spoolup like a K16 but more power like a K24. It is the best of both worlds, without much compromise. Check out the 996 Turbo forum for lots of discussion about them. They are a popular upgrade for street and track cars, especially for those with a max goal of 500awhp. A warning though...power is addicitive...there are many, like myself that couldn't stop there!

I do not think 650hp crank is possible with K16/24s. That would require larger than OEM turbos and many other mods...upgraded fuel injectors, fuel lines, fuel pump, free flowing intake and all hoses, enlarged throttle body, plenum, headers, intercoolers, open exhaust, clutch and the right tuning. Reaching 650 crank HP is not a simple bolt on deal and it costs tens of thousands to get there. 500 wheel hp is usually the max quoted for K16/24s, intake, DVs, WGs, exhaust and tuning. I haven't seen an engine dyno (crank hp results) but if you know the drivedrain loss you can calculate it.

Every sponsor on the board has a K16/24 program and the prices range from $700 to $3000. I do not think they are all identical but all will certainly work well. PM me if you want to go into the different options.

One set has been sold. There is one set left for sale. It is new, and comes with stock wastegates and the mounting brackets.

Both sets are sold. My turbo tree is all out of fruit. I'll add fertilizer and hopefully we will get another good crop some day.
