HRE 949R on black Flying Spur

It is something I've been debating. The 65 has a lot more power, and is just insane with all the goodies of the 600, plus a lot more power. It is also more expensive than my Bentley.
I really can't make up my mind, but I do love the interior treatments on the 600/65s (suede roof, etc). I am also kind of a ***** for the best of the best. I just have to figure out if I want to drop over 200k on an S-Class.

That same amount of $ could go into a piece of real prop that will be worth a whole lot more down the road.
I still think you are better off with your Bentley. Put on different wheels to get back most of the OEM feel, and you'd probabaly feel differenty about the car.
Remember, the devil you know is better than the one you do not know!

That is an excellent conclusion, as it's not a case of being able to afford the car. It's because that car will quickly devaluate reducing your $'s value.

I think the most likely case is let someone take the initial depreciation hit on a 65 and then scoop it up resale and lease it.
Even if I keep the Bentley, I'm likely to get the S anyway. I'll change wheels on th Bentley, make it a club/going out cruiser and get the 63 instead of the 65 (resale as well) for a DD since I've all but given my Toyota to someone else who drives it 95% of the time.

The S63 is the AMG version of the S550 (same trims available, plus some AMG goodies). The 65 is based on the 600, which has some things that you cannot get in anything but a 600 or 65.

makes good sense

I don't know of any local dealers that have both. If they did, I'd do a back to back drive in a heartbeat.

Is it working?
In this market it makes more sense to be a bit conservative. Don't throw away good $.
