my key is pretty dead. i either need to charge it or replace the battery. does the car charge the key or do i just have to replace the battery?

i think i need to replace it but want to confirm.

Batteries are inside the Key FOB. Best to have your dealer change them out. If you have a good relationship with them they'll probably do it for free (less the price of the new batteries)

I remember the disassembly being kind of tricky.
