Flying Spur Air Conditioning

Have had a 2006 Continental Flying Spur for about 6 months and love the car. The AC seems a bit anemic- it will not get the car very cold when the outside temp is above 80F.
Is this normal for these cars or should I have it serviced?

Have it serviced, even at 95+ mine works fine. You probably just need some R134a refill.

I have an '07 GT, got it last winter. It's now AC season here, cranked the AC on today, and nadda… just blows ambient air... lots of ambient air if the fan's turned on high. I was thinking the same... probably just needs some R134A refill, but... could it more likely be a sensor problem, flappy doors in the HVAC box not functioning correctly, etc...? And is R134a fine or does it require some special rare and expensive NASA approved refrigerant stuff?

Not that it's really a big deal that the AC isn't working... I have all sorts of stuff with no AC... my house, my shop, my backhoe, my tractor... in-fact the Bentley is like the only thing I own that's AC equipped... so it would be nice to see what all the fuss about having AC is all about. Well that, and maybe I might want to take my mom for a ride someday... and her Subaru has AC... that works... so how would it look if my BENTLEY's ac doesn't work.... unless it's some knock-down, drag-out to fix it... and if that's the case, the windows work just fine.
