2008 GT Speed price check
Curious if anyone here knows what a reasonable price is for an 08 GT Speed with 5k-10k miles??? To me reasonable means that I am not looking for the deal of the century, but I also don't want to get had by some dealer that believes these cars don't depreciate either...
Any thoughts or does anyone have any info on recent auction prices?
Thx.

Great question...The price seems to be quite variable, depending mostly on milage. There are a few that I have seen with very high milage (~40K) listed for ~$119K. There is one I have seen with a prior "minor" accident for ~$125K. Then you have the average one with ~5-10K miles...those seem to have list prices of anywhere from $130K to $150K.
So basically, I am of no real help! Sorry! I have been looking, too, and the above are some of my observations.
I have yet to figure out how much the Bentley Dealers are marking these things up. If you look at some of the car fax information, it seems that a lot of these dealers have had these cars in stock for ~6 months. You'd think they would like them to move and might take a bit less than their list price for them.

This is an email I received in July of '09. It is moonbeam (silver) with black interior and is still not sold.
Hello Duffy,
I hope you and your wife are doing well.
I’m not sure if you have received any emails that I sent 3 or 4 months ago, but there is a very large incentive program going on the remaining new 08’s that is about to end at the end of the month.
The car that your wife drove and liked so much can now be sold for $159,000.00. This is the same car that has an MSRP of $219,000.00.
If you were still batting the idea of owning one of these beauties, now is the time.
Take care and I hope to speak to you soon.

The car has been punched so is technically a used car. At the time they had three Speeds - Silver Tempest, Moonbeam & Granite and I could have bought any one of them for the 159,000. A month later it was up to 169,000.00 because the program from Bentley went away. Not sure what you could buy it for now.
