I am 46 and still counting. I can feel the pain everyday when I paddle out. Is this going to ever stop Doc?

Certainly death stops all pain. Enjoy the decline mate.

This is why we buy expensive fast toys. The endorphine release of driving a quick hot looking car dulls the pain of aging related ills.

Am I going to be billed for this?

The pain serves a purpose Wedgeduck. It makes death less of a disappointment.

Advice (at 68): Organize your freezer/refrigerator, get a WaterRower and drink no more than 10 oz. of alcohol a day (except on occasion).

The other advice I would give is to get a Bentley, but most of you already have one. I am not kidding about the Bentley. Since retiring, I had been prone to sit at my computer, just like I did when I worked. On a whim I bought the Bentley (the AppleB) as my trophy. Since then I have taken to care for her and drive her. It has given me something else to look forward to on a daily basis. Little by little I am moving more and more away from my computer (WaterRower as an example), lost weight and have started to regain my sense of humor. IMHO, you have to love (not like) cars in order for this to work.

Oh, I almost forgot a very important part - join the 6speedonline forum. Some of the best people on the planet!

On the house mate.

Getting a Bentley is good therapy. I had an old thread on that topic some time ago. I really need a drive today but won't be able to. I have some bush hog mowing to do this evening and came home and found a flat on the tractor.

Sometimes the tractor is good mind clearing activity.

Thanks Doc, I have way too many bills to worry about. Man, I would love to retire and pick up a nice home with a few acres in Big Sur. City life can get to ya. On a lighter note. I am taking her for a drive down PCH to have lunch with a few friends in Newport Beach.

The sailboat builder? I believe my little surf buddy used to build carbon/Kevlar sailboat masts for him. This was some years ago. They were building some masts for boats that were competing in the World Cup.
