Looking around for flash options to give the car a bit more grunt.

Searched around and noted Fabspeed uses Evoms flash which a few members are running happily. As they are not available here I'm left with either GIAC or a Eurocharged flash. GIAC comment they are the one of the first to OBD flash a GT which sounds assuring vs Eurocharged as I can't find any reviews for the GT.

I'm only after a flash without exhaust to avoid remove/install to pass emission. Evoms and Eurocharged (website shows GT OE power at 400bhp?) state a 68bhp increase vs GIAC at 100-114bhp. Does anyone know if any of the flashes will modify gearbox programme to avoid any jerky gear changes which was noted before Evoms made an update?

Where are you located? We do not modify the gearbox directly, but are able to make the program smoother through throttle and boost mapping recalibration. Smoothness is something that our customers do make note of in reviews of the flash.

We also offer switching with a valet mode and 100 octane race mode, which is something unique to our software.

What model year is your car? Assuming we support that model year with software, all of our dealers can OBD2 port flash you.

It's MY06 but 07 spec. Do u need ECU part number to confirm if flash is possible? How's the effect on fuel consumption?

Also like to ask can dealer detect if ECU has been flashed? Reason I ask is I still have a service package left and dealer won't touch any modified cars.
