Brooklands

I'm picking up an 09 Brooklands next week and am wondering if I should take the 1 year CPO for $5700. I know that the CGT is rather bullet proof but know nothing about the Brooklands' reliability. I know the car is in great condition and was pampered by the original owner with all services done by Bentley and on regular basis. Does any of you know about reliability issues with this car?

I regret that your thread was not responded to sooner please take no offense from the Bentley members, some can be a tad slow .

I bought mu 07 GTC with no warranty and one year later have had no major issues. I have an issue with the boot opening switch in the drivers door and the opening mechanism. I am investigating the fix currently. $5700 seems high for a 1 year so how much of a gamble are you?? I usually do NOT buy extended warranties so I'm a no go on that. Good luck and welcome to the club.

Let us know how it goes with the car.

Thank you for the reply. I want the peace of mind so I went with the 1 year CPO. I couldn't pick it up this week but I'll make sure to post picks and impression next week as soon as it is in my garage.
Here are some pics of the car though.

Sorry have no advice about the CPO. Just want to congratulate you, I simply love the look of these cars. One of the most beautiful cars ever.
Looking forward to more pics and driving impressions.

Perfect. Can a car get any better than this!

I used to buy warranties, but since the cars I bought them for only did a few thousand miles a year, they didn't have time to develop a fault.

I'd assume a 3 yr-old car would have had all the bugs ironed out by this stage, but as you said - you're buying peace of mind.

I am convinced a man must be comfortable and pleased with a purchase to have any enjoyment with the goods. When spending at this level by all means enjoy. Congratulations. Tell us how you feel when you drive your car.

I picked up the car a few days ago and did not have time to take nice pictures of it but I did make a video. The video is not very good though... I will try and post pictures in the next couple of days.

Thank you for the kind words! Yes I'm driving it in the city and despite the potholes the ride is incredibly comfortable :-)
