Thanks DrD and yes there is some difference between the two. I can also see subtle changes they made from year to year. Small stuff, yet refinements for sure. As for your P Ditty comment, met 'em....

Yeh I would have bought that but felt the app was above me. As you may have seen in the VW commercial remember to remove the ski mask.
I keep wondering when you all will kick me outta da club?

Hey doc, we want to join YOUR club! It looks a lot more fun than doddering round the streets at 0mph wondering if some dust on your hood is going to ruin your day

Thanks guys it makes a man feel to good to be appreciated by his peers.
To bad the price of admission is so high:
1. loss of dignity
2. extreme embarrassment from diarrhea of mouth and constipation of brain
3. to be looked down upon by many, mostly nice looking females
4. always looking over your shoulder for the law, speeding constantly
and the like....

Ok, so... now that winter is gone we swapped the rims/tires from single-piece chromed with Blizzaks to the summer Mulliner-style 19" multi-piece lightweight jobbies. Keep in mind Bentley Boston did the tire changeover so I never knew how heavy the winter rim/tire combo is.
O....M...G!!! Talk about a winter BOAT ANCHOR's worth of unsprung weight! The new-to-me single-piece chromed Bentley 19" rims with Blizzaks were, no kidding, around 8+ lbs heavier than the 19" Mulliners with factory P Zeros. No wonder why the driving performance was being murdered! Besides the lighter weight of the summer Pirelli setup, the grip potential is far higher in the warm/dry (ambient was 75F, did not measure tarmac temps).
So my first drive with the summer setup...
Anywho, ok, yes I know tires can make a big difference, as do temps, yada yada... but this was like a transformation. Too much to describe here plus i want more time than just a single evening and night drive. Ok, she is now feeling more like the GT did. Need to 'scrub' the tires more...
We're getting there....
Wow, never knew what the Blizzak'ed rims weighted as the car came with them, so this was my first time seeing just how unbelievably heavy they are! IMHO the non-chromed Mulliners look better than the 5-star-like chromed rims with the color of the car. Looks more.... appropriate and color-matching

Some pics.... and this way you see it in two different lightings to see how well the rims match the car's color. The 19" chromes came stock with the car, had the set of 19 Mulliner here from the GT per se. We have potholes, frost heaves, etc here so 21" would be ruined in no time.

Yea dear, you're right dear, anything you say dear
Actually I don't want a loud street car, since the Ferrari with Cherry Bomb custom pipes cured me of that ailment. Stealth Bentley has advantages and like the GT, never plan to track the fat pig GTC so no need to have a track-like sound to her.

FYI: According to Tire Rack:
31 lbs Pirelli P Zero Bentley spec
34 lbs Blizzaks in size used
So there's three pounds of damaging unsprung rotating mass right off the bat! Alas, can not find rim weight difference between Mulliner multi-piece lightweight spec and normal (these were/are Bentley's lightest rims manufactured to date as I recall and why I love them). And yes, in the pics, those are the self-leveling centers on the Mulliner rims
Anyone know the rim weight... anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

What tire pressures are you running? I think I settled on 44 front and 41 rear to be safe up to 180 if I ever tried but not to hard of a ride. If I ever just decide to slow down and drive litke grwisher and cdavis43 I'll let all the air out for grandma drive mode.
