New Record

Brooke, that is my daughter, went out riding yesterday and hit the 160mph mark and that stands as my new land speed record. The road was clear and conditions were good. 160 does feel a bit faster than the old 150 mark. Top down as always.

When we got home and I told the wife she just rolled her eyes and was not impressed. Like I thought she would be.???

Congrats!!! Of course you were on a closed course, obeyed all safety rules, yada yadda.

Was the car is S mode? My wife calls that the 'Scary' mode. So tell me, how is it with the top down? I hear you are going so fast the wind can't touch you

Yes, yes and more lies yada yada . I understand your concern and you are correct to question my behaviors but I is who I is.

Yes in sport mode but at these speeds i am not sure it makes much different. My tuning and exhaust are not stock you recall. BTW S stands for ******* squeeze. My wife used to reach over and give the boys a squeeze in the bass boat when she felt i was going to fast.

Yet again you raise the barrier to your exclusive club doc. I don't know why you shoot game when you can easily concuss them with your slipstream

Did that in the first model year Gallardo on a test drive. The dealer with me told me to, "Treat it like an Italian *****.".

After that I said no more, solid as it was. I agree, need something like a 1-Mile contest or so...

I would have liked to top it out but never did it for some reason. Fastest i've ever gone in it was 140.

Despite manufactures claims I bet the car will struggle to make it to the mid 190's. Another thing to consider is the accuracy of the speedometer. I bet it is a "happy meter" over stating the actual speed. I did see some testing done on Top Gear that did bear that out.

Ken I think I tipped a cow on my last run.

Speedo on the 06 GT was 5 mph 'happy' @ 65 mph speedo reading with stock Pirelli 19" P Zero tires. About 2 mph at 65 mph speedo reading when using the 19" Blizzak LM60 tires. Have not timed the new 07 GTC with Blizzaks yet.

BentleyF is infamous around these parts
It will lay the needle on 200 mph in my spur.
But it wore all 4 tires to the cords on the inside.
Beat a motorcycle jixer 600. Beat him 4 times each
Time I walked him down then ran away from him.
