A great big hello to everyone on the board.

Ive recently signed on and paid for a 2006 Flying Spur. Cant wait to bring her home this thursday and i must say, the wait is killing me. Looking forward to sharing abit more about the car when i finally get it.

It also seems like there is a lack of Bentley forums/boards online. Other marques like even Lamborghini or Ferrari have a good following on online boards but it would seem that Bentley is rather unrepresented or theres a low computer savvy ownership base. Haha

I have some little questions im curious about but ive previously owned a E46 M3, R34 GTR, Lamborghini Gallardo, Cayman S and some other Audi's and BMW's so alot of my queries actually stem in comparison to those rides.

1. What kind of leather does Bentley use? As im in Malaysia, the weather here is mighty hot and the leather has seen better days. Alot of owners of other cars down here just swap out that patch of leather thats worn for a new piece but im given to understand that the leather used by Bentley is different and special and what not? If i do indeed decide i want to retrim, how do i find the type of leather, supplier and color codes?

2. The wood trim on the top of my passenger door -

The bottom part where it meets the leather is showing discoloration. Is there any way to fix this or do i have to live with it or replace the whole piece? Any idea on cost?

3. For some reason, my car doesnt come with an automatic button activated boot closing system. Is it possible to retrofit this function onto the car as i find it extremely useful.

4. In the rear seats, i found controls to recline the rear seat. I can push the seat forward which gives the impresson of reclining by moving the base forward. However the back rest piece when i push it, it only pumps up the lumbar support in or out. In my F02 730Li, the back seat actually physically reclined although just abit. Is mine broken or is this the case?

When activating the button to control the front passenger seat, i can only push it forward or backward too. I cant actually control the recline angle.

5. Is there a good a reliable Bentley original parts supplier online? And aftermarket parts too

6. Where can i buy the 3 piece chromeset for the lower part of the bumper?

7.As my leather is rather worn, is there any good way to restore it? With products and instructions online? As local leather guys keep suggesting that i cut up the seat and replace that piece although ive refused so far.

8. Is there a good way to lower this car without affecting ride qualty or reliability?

The car currently has 50k kms and i intend to drive it quite heavily.. Any suggestions to ensure longevity?
