conti gt- bank 1 sensor 1 o2 sensor
bank 1 sensor 1, this is passenger side pre-cat o2 sensor,
took me and my dad 1.5 hour to remove. remove a small heatshield, remove wheel, drop tie rod, pull filter box, use a long o2 wrench and get it from the top.
sure bentley quoted 40 hours.
macgyver is my middle name

they know the easier way, they just have not updated assist,if done under warranty the factory does not pay for engine removal and if done with customer pay the dealer should not charge for it either !!

I know Indy shops told me 8-10 hours
Half shaft removal, shock removed, drop subframe, etc etc
I am not sure how hard the driver side would be
I know the passenger side bank 1 sensor 1, pre cat I did easily
I heard the bank 2 is much harder ?? maybe the steering gets in the way

on the 04 to i think 12MY cars all the O2 sensors can be changed without having to remove engine,if you are thinking of lowering the trans mount to do the rear sensors then that is not recommended because of the stress put on the front electronic mounts.
