Top Up or Down

Top Up or Down
I drive my car to work and it will sit for three to four hours in the sun I wonder do I put the top up or leave it down? If I raise it then I will lower it for the drive home, so it has to go through two cycles on a round trip which is wear and tear on the mechanism. The other choice is leave it down and expose the interior to the sun.
O bother what is the least damaging sun or mechanism wear? What would you do?
O bother what is the least damaging sun or mechanism wear? What would you do?

That's a dumb question and I doubt it came from the good doctor. Where is Dr. Disaster and what have you done with him?
The other part of the post which is not characteristic of the good Dr. is "I drive my car to work and it will sit for three to four hours in the sun". We all know the Disaster man works 16 hour days.

But let's take this down the road of the pathalogically minded doc and ask how damaging is the three hour ride through the countryside on a sunny day? Heaven forbid you take an all day ride like I do and bake the leather. And on and on in the contorted mind or Dr.D????????????
The lyrics are true "there is no rest for the wicked and money don't grow on trees". Help me out Steven where does that song come from post me a link mate.

Now let's answer another dumb question that you have posed. The reason that it is fine to put the top down on a day ride is because you are in the car enjoying it. At work you are not in the car because you are inside pulling teeth or something and you are not enjoying the car. In Texas there is another reason not to leave your car outside with the top down and I will give you a hint - they have wings.

Thanks Steven I knew you was da man. I have never seen the video. My point is not that i am that wicked, nor righteous but my mind never rests. I have been sure for years that money does not grow on trees, my dad made that real clear.

Nope, it starts out as a type of 'pulp', more like material made from cotton fibers like jeans you wear, and is eventually through a careful process turned into special paper all made by Crane & Co. Brings new meaning to 'we just make that ol' stuff out back'
