Anyone Running 22" Wheels 11J Rear?
Hi all
I am considering some updated wheels for my 2005 CGT and have seen some black (my B is black too) 22" but they are 11J wide 32 offset and i am concerned that whilst they may fill the acrches very nicely they might be a little too wide, online calcs showing 14mm less inner clearance and 36mm more outer.
Has anyone fitted such a large wheel to their GT?
The rims are currently fitted with 265/35/22 & 295/30/22 tyres which are also too large on rolling diameter and raise the car 20mm according to the same site.
Id like feedback on this, is it a bad move?
Thanks
Carl

I've done a few of these and you need a 22x9 for the front and a 22x10.5 for the rear. The tire size you need are 295/25/22 for the rear and 265/30/22 for the front. Its a really a matter of taste but I think the right wheel will really make the car look better.

The rims are curbed just as often as the factory ones are LOL. I guess it depends on your driving capabilities. Handling his way improved because of the lower sidewall = less flex. In most cases the 22 inch wheel and tire combo is lighter than the factory so stopping is improved because you have less unsprung weight.
