My First Bentley

Hi chaps,

I've been lurking these forums for over 6 years now and have really been inspired by a lot of the cars you guys own and always aspired towards having my own Bentley and very recently, just before my 27th birthday I decided to treat myself to a GT.

It's a UK car, 29k miles on the clock, triple black spec, DVD player, Parrot Bluetooth, full Jack Barclay London service history and am absolutely loving it!

Since owning it I have lowered the car, had the wheels powder coated and also upgraded a few bits to Mulliner spec.

Hope you enjoy my pics

Bam. Thats a very winning introductory post to the forum!

Great choice of car, locations, and pics.

Got to love London, only problem is there too many GT's. I see one every six months here, last time in central London I saw 12 in a couple of hours!

I used lowering links and then got a guy local to me to fit them and adjust to my taste, probably the best value mod I've ever done on my cars!

In my first week of driving the car around Mayfair, I was stuck in traffic with 3 other GTs in front of me and I felt distinctly average, so I got the wheels powder coated gloss black and now it stands out from the crowd.

I can understand that. The awesomeness of driving it is pleasure enough, but people asking about whenever you pull up is quite nice too.

A couple of weeks ago while in an electronics store a fellow asked me what kind of car mine was and I told him it was a Bentley Continental. His second question was, is that Ford? I told him that it was an English car and he said," I thought it looked kinda funny".

Outside Starbucks the other day someone shouted at me as they walked past "Hey, is that was one of those new Chrysler 300's?". To which there is only one answer.

"Yes" I replied.
