'Backrest Not Locked' - Any idea?

Hi guys,

I have this symbol on my car and it won't disappear, I've tried pulling the leaver to lean the seat forward and clicked it back in place but it doesn't make a difference. Basically my drivers seat has no power, no massage, heat, electronic control etc.

Also any ideas what the warning symbol next to the Tyre Pressure Monitor is for?

Thanks

Typically a broken wire in the seat or a faulty micro switch for the back rest latch.

Check the fuse for the seat. Possible that's cooked. The (0) warning light is right from the book of Audi/VW and means your front brake pads are likely toast. That warning light has been around since the 80's for Audi's.

The final warning icon on the left is sort of a combo of the brake pad worn out warning icon and a light bulb, so that means one of your brake lights is out.

I've had all 3 symbols you are so priviliged to also receive.

After 10 years, both of the seat locking mechanisms had become a bit worn, causing too much slack in the back of the seat therefore frequentley triggering the warning. Dealer took out both seats and sleeved a part that tightened up the back of the seat - warning has not appeared since.
New front brakes Pads solved warning light 2
Rear high mounted LED stop light is intermittent and the globe out symbol comes on occassionally (along with much beeping and flashing)- I live with it.
