Gt vs. Gt speed

567 vs 616 BHP for GT versus GT Speed. Lowered and stiffer suspension. Some interior features of Mulliner package standard on the Speed but can be ordered on a standard GT. This is a comparison between w-12 engine equipped models.
The GT V-8 has 500 BHP but performance figures quoted to be near the standard w-12 GT (less weight and difference gearbox for the V-8). I have driven the standard w-12 and have a 2013 v-8 and the "seat of the pants" dyno tells me that from a standing start the w-12 launches with the feeling of more torque (as it should) than the v-8. Once rolling at 15mph or so I could not feel the difference other than more shifts happening in the v-8.

The GT Speed has the racing heritage of W O Bentleys 1928 Speed that won numerous races. The SPEED could very well have the same exact engine as the GT but the tune is definitely different/hotter. Furthermore, being top of the line it has the best of everything. Lastly, there is no comparison with the entry level GT V8 and the 12 cylinder GT SPEED.
The SPEED is like fine wine and the V8 is like very good beer. Distinctly different but they will both get you very drunk.
