Re-initialize windows?
I have a intermittent problem with my RHD '04 Conti GT where the r/h rear passenger window (behind the driver) lowers itself. This happens when exiting the car, as I close the drivers door the rear window moves up back into the seal but then comes all the way down. This will keep happening and the only way to get around it is to leave the rear window half an inch from the top. This is annoying as it creates a small air gap past the seal and results in condensation in the car! I read somewhere about re-initializing the windows? Anyone know how to do this on a RHD car? Or could this be a problem with the microswitch striker on the drivers door? Thanks

ok,sit in the car with engine running and all doors closed, starting with the drivers window take it all the way down with the switch and when its down cycle the switch down a couple of times ,you will hear relay click out, then take the window up with the switch do not use one shot ,cycle the switch at the top ,meaning pull up release ,pull up ,hold for a couple of secs and release. then still sitting in drivers seat and using master switches do the passenger door and then each rear window in turn. you may have to do the rear more than twice a. make sure your seals are not grabbing or come adrift.
