Then you will have to remap and it's a pain in the butt such as remapping your tranny ECU and master ECU. I pulled over 900hp on 91 octane and only 10psi of boost. The car has a lot of mods. I am just slowly putting her together the way I think she would be. Safe to drive and a beast

Sounds like a good bunch of mods. Who you getting to do the mapping? not sure who could do that over here ??

Our friends here have the software and firmware. It's really hard to map the car the way she is now. Too many files that need to be modded. Like he is still going through files again and I've spent three weeks on the files alone. Plus overcoming OEM ECUs, boost controller , torque limiters , maf sensor and a whole load of other crap. It was easier just building the thing. No one in the world to my knowledge has ever went this far and actually proved it.

Its an interesting concept....all the changes to parameters in the ECU's. I'm going to have to look into this and see what can be done over here.
thanks for the information.

Nice.... you really did it right in lowering the compression to accommodate the pump gas and street manners. In my 1000 hp Camaro I did something very similar. We chassis dynod on Arco pump gas 800hp to the wheels which accounting for drivetrain loss amounts to a little over 1000hp. Huge respect to you and your high horse power build. I know its a challenge that becomes a passion. Nothing like controllably breaking those tires loose at 60 miles an hour while still able to cruise 90 mph at 2700rpm. Once you achieve this balance ... mission accomplished.
Warning Wedge D! Once shes done you'll go crazy with all the idle time between projects

You have been over 1000hp on a track. I am just slowly getting there. Yeah it was strange to all of us that on 91 octane and 10psi of boost, she kept wanting to push more hp. We got a little scared and back off. So now it's just fine tuning her for driveability. Yep, I will get bored after I start tracking her too much.

I take it you didn't lower the compression ratio

Yeah the big inch motors love boost but do more with alot less. I set my limiter at 12 lbs and hit it at 3500 moved it to 14lbs max at hit 800+ at 6500 after 2 pulls I called it. We didnt play with the tune confident she has a ton more in her.

so true. That's how we feel. Why blow her up on a dyno trying to max her out. Rather do that on a mid tune and just have tons of fun without the worries.

No. We thought about it but left it alone. On our new motor we would have to play around with that.
