lights

I think it goes:
off, automatic, running lights, on

and then fog setting is the large button on the right.

Daytime Running Lights

The manual indicates that the DRLs come on when the engine is running and an indicator light shows on the instrument panel. On My 2008 GT, the DRLs don't seem to function that way. They only come on when I select the Side-lights/Daytime running light position.

I thought DRLs were required in this country to come on automatically?

Answer to my own question: DRLs not required in this country. So, re my '08 GT, for them to come on one has to select them on the control ****.

DRL’s won’t turn off.

Interesting issue relative to this thread ... I can’t get my headlights (DRL’s) to turn off in my 08 CGT Speed. In my 05 CGT if you turned the headlight **** to the far left all lights incl the headlights would turn off. On my 08 turning the headlight **** all the way left turns off dash lights, the light behind the clock and center console plus taillights. But the headlights stay on. Headlights are on during the day as well even Inc the 2nd “full auto” setting. Any ideas how to get my headlights off?

Do you happen to know where your car originated? If it was a Canadian car, Canada has a HLs on all the time requirement. Not sure about Bentley, but with many other car models the HL on is factory (or dealer) setup and there is no off position. Some use the same HL switch, orthers it is a BCM setup.

It’s a US car. I have the build sheet and know the original dealer who took delivery. I thought maybe there was a setting that could be turned off and on. Either by me or the dealer via the computer.

Anyone know if there is supposed to be a headlight indicator on in the instrument cluster?
I am used to just about all my cars indicating on the cluster with a green light that lights are on.
2007 Bentley GT I can never tell if the lights are on or not
