Could someone with a 15MY CGT Speed let me know the exact positioning for the wing mounted Speed badges please.

I have bought a pair to replace the W12 badges on my car, but I would like to ensure I fit them correctly.

Yes, I'm removing the W12 badges and replacing them with Speed badges as fitted on the 15MY cars, I think they look much better.

 

I will be at Bentley Knutsford next week, so I will take a pic' if they have any.

That's great, my local dealer won't have one in any time soon and hasn't sold one yet.

 

Autoweek just did a review of the 2015. There is a video and several pictures of the new speed. Where did you get the emblems and did you also get the small one for the dash?

If you have a look, you will see where the badges go. You can choose the colour of your car too which might help.
At the end, go to output then save a brochure. That will save you pictures of the car from various angles.

I should be at the showroom later today and will still have a look for one in the flesh for you.

I also noticed that the Speed badges are an option, so presumably anyone else wanting them can buy them.

The chrome adhesive backed Speed wing badge part number is: 3W8853675E
Off hand I Don't know the price, perhaps some one else does.
Don't know the part number or price for the dash badge, I don't particularly like it on there, looks a bit naff to me.

 

By attempting to scale up the correct position from a photograph I would estimate the badge is positioned approximately 50mm in from the wing rear edge and 55mm down from the swedge line to the bottom of the letters.

I'm not proceeding until this is verified, you only get one go at putting them on.........

 

Sorry V12 but there were no Speed models at Bentley when I visited.
I did notice that the W12, V8 and V8S all have their respective badges in the same place on the wing.

The correct position for these badges is:
50mm in from the edge of the wing
55mm from the wig swdge line to the bottom of the badge.
