my 2007 has a problem with the function of the top upon closing. When I go to close it the windows go down, the red side flaps go up but then the lid that lifts for the top to come up rises a 1/2 inch and just stops. i then go back in close position and try again and again and after several times it just works normally. I don't know what the problem could be?? A sensor? one of the hydraulic shocks getting weak? something else??

Also the power trunk intermittently just slams shut hard as soon as it opens and the motor stops. I unhooked the two hydraulic shocks that hold it open and they seem stiff but do you think they are weakening? Only 9200 miles on it.

Fuse for tilt steering and power driver's seat blows every time the steering tilt motor runs and then can't move seat. from moving switch in and out or uo and dow for telescope or tilt or when seat memory is pushed to move seat and steering to that setting. Short? exposed wire? tilt motor bad? seat causing it?

any ideas-just seem full of problems all of a sudden and afraid to take to dealer because when keyless entry and push button start wouldn't work it cost $2000 in labour to diagnose a shorted wire under the back seat.
