2011 Continental GTC... A steal?
Hi Guys,
Just joined the forum and wow, love the camaraderie in here!
I am in the market for a new car and I caught a lead on a older (quite well off) couple who were looking to sell their 2011 GTC.
It has 30k Miles, 1 owner, and they are offering it to me for around $70k. They tell me they rather sell it to someone rather than have another dealership steal it off of them as a trade in.
From my research this number is pretty low for this. Then again i'm not sure how much these are actually closing for vs their list prices. They have all service records.
"Too good to be true" or "go get the cash now."
Thanks!

Have heard about deals like this and if they have the title and the dealership that services it says it is good, buy it! These are great RARE deals. I bet the stealership offered them $70k as trade, and so they'd rather just sell it fast to someone else who'd enjoy it. As I said before, make sure they have the physical/paper title and it is in their name.
If they are the real owners, am sure they would not mind taking it to the dealer who services it (with you there, too) so the dealer can verify it is in good shape. Simply be mindful of servicing costs, and plan at least $1500 to $2500 a year for upkeep and the occasional $4000 to $6000 'unexpected' servicing due to wear-n-tear or manufacturer defect, which is now out of warranty.
