CGT 10 year service?
Hi all, bought the car (2005 CGT) in October of 2013 and currently have 36k on her. The only service performed under ownership was an oil change last summer (2014). I tried to do a search on 10 year service or maintenance but it's tough since this forum doesn't include "10" in the search terms. I called two different dealerships and an indie. The indie does a major service every 5 years (5, 10, 15) along with just an oil change on regular years.
I found this checklist online that quotes 10 year service at around $3,000 but was wondering if anyone who has a 2004/05 that has done the 10 year service.. how much did it cost?

- Dealership 1 where I got my ($700 ) oil change quoted $1,700 but only really performs an oil change and maybe change cabin filters and top off fluids/check wheels/suspension etc.
- Dealership 2 quoted $1,300 for the same work as dealership 1
- Indie quoted $2700 but does much more work including replacing all fluids and spark plugs.

The 10 year service typically includes many different items. However, I feel the most important are the most obvious. Do the oil change, brake fluid change, transmission fluid change, engine air filters, fuel filter, and drive belt. There are other items that are officially required, but may not really be necessary. Spark plugs are due at the 4 year intervals, so check to make sure those have been done as well.
