Speed/Supersports during winter?

I live in Chicago and contemplating picking up a 2009-2010 Speed or 2010 Supersports (I haven't decided if the lack of a rear seat is a deal breaker or not yet). Any issues in the winter/snow? Any recommended rim/tire packages aside from OEM? I also welcome any input S vs SS. Thank you!

I suggest the smaller rims and a set of normal winter rubber. The B is great in the snow.
