I agree Steven,
I am going to get the original red belts into the front seats,
I can have the seat rear cover off in minutes now that I know how, and the side cover by switch pops off to a point allowing access to the screw holding the cover on that covers the seatbelt mounting bolt on the side, at least I do not have to remove the seat from the vehicle to change the belt.

Hello Joc44,
I am sorry to report that adding soft close is not plug and play, not only are the extra wires not in the main harness of the vehicle without soft close, the inner door panels have a recess for soft close when so optioned, along with the soft close latches.
As to your other question about my doors, those are my original doors non soft close, gutted and updated.

Here you go John,
So by removing the seat switch control trim you should be able to access the micro switch.

Update !
Spent some more time on this beauty !
I did some drivers seat foam surgery, changed out the tan seatbelt for the red belt, there is a cam lobe on the seatbelt roller, the vise grips hold the roller from spinning and losing all tension, OH the joy it was doing the seatbelt, I stabbed myself in the finger with a flathead, at least a Phillips would have pierced the skin a little nicer, that's why you will see me wearing gloves after some gauze and electrical tape repair to my finger, I can not wait to do the passenger side........
I transferred the leather from the old to the replacement seat rail trim, 2005 is different from 2007, the latter having a chrome finish plastic trim added, along with different profile.
Also some have called what looks like a speaker grill just that, "speaker cover", although there is no speaker there, it is the upper center vent for the HVAC.
Now back to some yard work....
Enjoy the Pictures.

Stealing time from my AWESOME Bentley build.......

You make me feel like I'm gettin' lazy. In my 'old age' today got to know my local indie to do the oil change and just a general check on the GTC. Not that I have something around here that holds all that darn used oil anyway (and where to dump it, since I no longer visit the track weekly to dump that stuff). We do have a 1/4 mile track nearby, so could dump the fluids there I guess.
Oh, and don't forget to hang the ceiling fan and mount up the Sonos speakers
