My car drives fine. Often hit 120 on the freeway.... 2 things.

I can be at 2 or 3 miles per hour... If I suddenly accelerate quickly for a second or 2 then take my foot off the accelerator, the car stops! I then lose all power, steering is hard and I have the stop, take the key out and then restart it. What's going on?

At above 90. Miles per hour, I get a high pitched whining sound. Stops below 85 or so. But no issues getting to 130. What could that be?

Does it feel like the car is running rough? I had my car stall when i was driving slow too and the cause of it was an intake vacuum leak. Air/fuel mixure wasnt good which caused the engine to run rough.

 

Have you checked your fuel filter?
