I've seen someone on Youtube claims that the Quicksilver affects his GT performance severely due to restrictive airflow.

Does anyone have experience with this?

Also, is it a good idea to get the Supersport version vs Sport or it would be too loud?

 

This is completely untrue, the system is if anything less restrictive because the pipes have been mandrel bent and the design is so as to produce maximum efficiency.


Sport is generally recommended for those who want more volume on a daily driver. Whereas the SuperSport is for those who want to make lots of noise on the weekend. But not generally recommended for a commuter or a daily, as most would find it to much.
