I am on my 2nd CGT. Last one was a 2011 Supersports, this one is a 2014 Speed. Loved the Supersports, love the current one. I drive it daily and do about 8,000 miles a year. I use it all year round, heat, snow, sleet, etc. I even take it to the race track once in a while. It just works.

Both of the cars have been super reliable, aside from a few pathetic things - trunk not latching on power close, electronic park brake sensor failing, one seat massager not working, etc. All issues were fully covered by warranty. The dealer sends a covered flatbed to my house, picks up the car and returns in when it's ready. Their service has always been excellent.

Both the last one and the current one are pretty subtle. Nobody whips out camera phones, nobody pays attention to it. I love it. I drove a Mulsanne Speed for 2 weeks in the summer and people took pictures of it pretty much all the time, which was incredibly annoying.

I like pretty much everything about my car- the power, all-wheel drive, double glass, interior, etc. The road presence is their too - almost nobody cuts me off.Yes, the infotainment system is not that great, but go check out the one in Bentayga. They finally caught up with the times. All future Bentleys will have that system going forward.

It always amazes me how some people buy a 10+ year old Bentley that was often not properly maintained and cry about how expensive it is to maintain. Doh! If you dont want to stress over maintenance costs, buy a newer car with factory warranty still intact. Or buy a CPO car. Or just buy an extended warranty from Bentley for $4K a year and sleep well at night. But dont complain about having to spend $10K on a major repair simply because it's due to something being worn out after 10 years and needs to be replaced. ANY old car you buy that was $100K and up when new is going to cost an arm and a leg to properly maintain. This is why majority of people stay away from them. Otherwise, everyone and their mother would be tooling around in 10-year old BMW 7-series, MB S-Class and Audi A8's instead of driving new, reliable cars from less expensive brands. I can't imagine why anyone would want to deal with owning a 10-year old Bentley instead of leasing a nice new $80K car from a luxury brand of your choice. The badge? The prestige? Who cares? You are going to forget that after the first mechanical problem. This is not to say that old Bentleys are less reliable than other luxury cars. They are actually more reliable according to users of this forum.

Of course, if you do your own mechanical work and have spare time, Bentley parts are only marginally expensive than brands like MB, BMW, Audi, etc, so you will have no issues with maintaining your car.

With that said, I am definitely getting a third Bentley once the current lease ends in 10 months. Best car I ever had.

Joe Boccia is infamous around these parts
Iv owned 2 different model Mercedes s65's and i personally got tired of Mercedes devaluing their brand. I would take my car to the local cars and coffee and see so many Mercedes c300s it looked like a dealership. When anyone can go buy a new Mercedes for $28,000 suddenly the 200,000$ models just dont seem as exclusive or nice. Evem though the s65 is insane....
