Pre-Facelift Continental Cupholder Solution

So I buy my '09 GTC and discover that cup holders were the last thing on the drawing board for some reason-then I began my search for what to do.

I came across Alcabo cup holders for the pre-facelift continental line, a bit pricey but well worth it.

The build quality and fitment is on par with the cost and the rest of the interior. The unit fits in place of the ash tray very snugly.

If anyone doesn't know about them already, I highly recommend them.

How are the cup holders after using them for 6 months. Have they held up nicely?

Thanks for the info on the aftermarket cup holders. How are they after using them for 6 months. Have they held up?

thanks for sharing. Can you post pics with the gear selector in "S"? I am curious as to whether the cups interfere with your hand.

They've been great, no issues at all-and I use them as intended. Only thing is I lost the foam inserts for the the bottom of the cups, should've glued them down but I'd say they disappeared one day with the top down.

They don't interfere for me, in fact they're a nice extension of the armrest when empty.

There's also plenty of room for plugs in the outlet, my bulky V1 still fits fine.

Thank you for posting the pics. The only spatial problem I see is accessing the control bar directly forward of the cups. I agree, it doesn't appear the shift selector causes any issues.
