Caution on Site Indie Recommendations

....Just reviewing some year old posts here...came across a real horror story...
Per the contributor, based upon high recommendations found here regarding a Florida Independent Shop, our new Forum person took his 2004 GT for new tires, 2 lower control arms, axle shafts and belt and was charged $6000...
....Now here's the issue, our new person, who says he regularly travels at high speeds (does Florida lend itself to high speed driving) was fortunately driving at normal speed when the front end suspension components fell apart...
....The recommended shop lied to our person, as many shops do, including "Bentley Service Advisors" and said it was fault of a collapsed Air Shock...to ad insult to the lie and injury...this crook (I'm trying to be nice) quoted another $5100 to repair damage that his shop caused...Our expert Johnny analyzed the pictures our person fortunately took. The cause was obvious, for lack of using correct $1.00 nut, with correct flange, the lower control arm popped out...this was definitely a life threatening situation...
....anybody here with authoritative information as to identity of the Florida shop should out them...they are dangerous and dishonest...JimB
