code p2187
Hello Everyone,
I recently had my coils, and plugs replaced by an indie. After about 120 miles, the ce light came on. I read the codes it was p2187. I looked under the hood and found one of my air ducts from the front of the car disconnected. I reconnected the duct, cleared the code. It reappeared 120 miles later.
I only scanned with obd2 scanner. I understand it needs a vas scan. I'm trying to get info on what I may be facing. Also, could this be caused by something after the coil, and spark plus change? Or just coincident?
Thank you all for your time and attention in advance. 2008 Bentley continental gt

I found another thread that may help. I will post a link. Some important info I found I will copy and paste for you, with the rest of the info in the thread link.
18619/P2187/008583 - Bank 1; System too Lean at Idle
-Possible Causes
Injectors leak/blocked
Air Intake Leak (after MAF)
Exhaust Leak
-Possible Solutions
Check Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70)
Check Injector(s)
Check Fuel Pump
Check Activated Charcoal Filter (EVAP) System Solenoid Valve 1 (N80)
Special Notes
When found in the NAR 2.0T (BPY) check RVUTB: 01-09-03 or 2018919 for updated Crankcase Breather Valve
If the breather valve is faulty, full engine vacuum is typically found when removing the oil cap at idle.

Update, car had a smoke test performed. Smoke test came back passed. But, my Indy dealer told me he noticed my oil dipstick not setting correctly into the block, which caused a vacuum leak, which into caused the light to come on. Fingers crossed, I think we may got it.

Awesome! Good job and hopefully that resolves it. It's usually the silly little things lol. My Corvette a couple weeks ago was stalling on me out of nowhere and I replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter only to find out that it was the MAF sensor wires being ground down by the pulley underneath it. Let us know if it doesn't resolve.
