2 questions; windshield washers and pollen filters

Hi,

I have the bentley pdf book (great info) but I didn't see where it covered anything on how to...

1. fix windshield washers that are not spraying. I have fluid and I can see it kind of come out (it hits the windshield but just barely over the wipers).

2. replace the pollen filters (under the hood i'm assuming). I tried pulling off a corner of the plastic trim from one and it appeared as if it broke. Not trying to break my car further - I stopped.

Any help would be appreciated. Can't believe how SECRET everything is on these cars. No fuse diagram, etc... it's like they're built by NASA or something... crazy!

Thanks,
David

Hi David.

Try a pin in the washer jet nozzles to see if they are blocked.

The fuse locations and diagrams are in the service book, assuming you have a service book that is! Hope so.

Les.

Hi,

I tried a pin and it didn't work. I don't think I've got anything but the owners manual

Hi David.

I could take photo's of my service book fuse diagrams but I think the LHD cars use some different fuse box locations than my RHD model.
Maybe another member will have what you want.

Just for info'. I just checked my new service book, the original was full, the new one doesn't have the fuse info in it, so you would need an original that came with the car from new.

Les.
