Forster1993 is infamous around these parts
Using an A8 wheel bearing

I need to replace my wheel bearing. Now my question is; the part number on flying spares is 3W0 407 613. Is there any issue with me using 4E0 407 613? Obviously available at a fraction of the price.

I seem to remember someone built a PDF cross referencing parts. Does any on have that?

Depends how friendly you are with the Audi dealer .
we bought an Audi from a dealer 6 miles away , so we were on there system .
i had a problem with the washers on the headlights - correctly diagnosed the relay in the scuttle fuse box .
It had B logos on and a part No .
i took it to the parts dept of the local Audi dealer .
A very helpful chap took one look and said yes, but there are various types - ours are all Audi or VW loggo ed , How ever we have a Parts x reference programme for the whole VAG group on our system .
whike he’s doing that I can see the stock on the racking behind , disc s ,callipers pacs etc look like there identical to the Bentley.
£18 is what I paid it had the 4 Audi rings on it and Audi packaging - it fitted and worked .

Another one the Beetle Gt has the same rear spoiler motor mechanism- identical
One motor assembly costs £60 and the very same Webasto part in another package with a B wings logo costs £340 .
