Started on the audio install
Hopefully i can use the antenna wire from this for my Sirius.
So I had a few hours to kill today and started to rip out all the aftermarket stuff the previous owner had in it. Just a few pics.

Hello TJ,
Did you open that panel with great force, as I see many broken areas, there is a release lever you would pull first to lower the knee panel, then you would have access to remove the screws as shown in red squares, follow the 2 gray cables to the lever, I will take pictures tonight.

Nope. (And thanks for the reply). As an ex installer, I would never force nothing. BUT i can tell whoever did the install did! Where you see it broken, they tried to "hot glue" it back together but it didn't take.
On another note, do you have any parts for the center console left over? After taking the old Passport SRX radar detector out, it left my center pieces nothing to desire. I tried looking the part number up and going to Alpine Performance and came up with nothing.

Okay, that looks a little strange, you have a 2005 as so do I, or at least mine started as an 05, and it came with a privacy phone in the right hand arm rest, yours appears to have two blanks in both bottoms of the armrest that would come from the driver side armrest, this is what I have left over as parts.

Yea. That's basically what they did. Put a driver's side in there because one side does have the "electronic" circuit at the bottom of it when you lift the blank out. I really don't want to spend $300 on used armrest just to get the inserts .
Thanks for all your help too. If I could buy you a bottle of Crown Royal 75 anniversary edition I would... lol
I was also looking for the front ashtray but thought today why not build a insert and run the two USB's from the radio I'm installing to that spot and be done with it.

Here is the picture of the factory setup, the red is my 05 armrests where both have a phone, 1 old cell in the DS, and 1 privacy in the PS, now the tan 06 setup is the DS with the phone control/display, and the blank on the PS, here's the catch though, with the 06 BT module in the trunk the DS control/display worked as far as you can see in the prior photo, BUT as soon as I tried to make a call or access the phonebook, my Samsung S7 edge would disconnect, so I purchased a 2010 BT module and installed it only to find out that 2010 did away with the driver side armrest control/display, BUT my S7 now connects and makes calls no problem, and the phonebook works as it should, and all info is displayed on the infotainment center screen along with the same info shown on the DIS, what I had done in my vehicle before finding out the S7 did not connect properly, was I installed the Ds control/display as factory, but then added the PS privacy phone in the PS as the wiring was there, now after installing the 2010 BT module I am removing the privacy handset in the PS and installing a BT phone just for the hell of it, and I will look into getting the DS control/display back up and running just because I like the looks of it.... LOL
PS. The blank is free, I am in NJ.

This is what I am installing in what should be the blank PS armrest, I know I went a little crazy, but while I had it all apart I might as well update it to the newest as possible for our generation model, so now I have an 05 with soft-close doors, power open and close trunk, latest Bluetooth, DVD NAV, NAIM head unit, working on NAIM amp, oh and a 2014 W12 TT engine, I am sure I forgot something else I did...
