Hi Johnny
Its RHD, thanks for the info
While Im sorting the upgrade on the audio Im also installing a heads up unit display, want to take the top panel off RH side to insert the unit level with the top panel, At the moment it sits on top of the panel as Im testing the unit, it works great, gives the speed, water temp, engine temp revs and so on. don't have to take ones eyes off the road.

I need to fix down a board for the amps to sit on, need to fix it at these points or where ever really so the board don't move or bounce around when driving. Is it safe to drill at this points don't want to drill into anything ...

Hola All
While the weathers a bit rubbish here thought get some prep work sorted on the speakers. Got the NSF Tweeter off and replaced with an Alpine which I got in with a little tweaking.
On with the next one ...

Thinking on installing the rear tweeters on this point, I did a sound test and by far the sound from the tweeters are much clearer from the position of the tweeters facing the front, what do you think ... ?
I'll have to have a couple of brackets made to fix the casing and hide the cable ...

I say go for it, I still do not understand why they would leave the rear tweeters out, it's not like they only fill the sound field for the rear passengers, it's like me putting the fader mostly to the front, it must sound great to you if you have temporary tested them facing forward.
Maybe place them at angle somewhat towards the center of cockpit, as to not have your rear driver's side tweeter aimed right at your head..... ?

Yes they sounded fantastic, total change. I replaced the front tweeters today and again the sound has totally changed, the stock tweeters sounded rubbish, I also don't understand why the rear tweeters never got installed in the rear. Sure I'll try a few points of sound when the full system is installed, will design the bracket so I can turn the tweeter at any time so suit ...

On to the next phase, here's the plan, give me your thoughts guys ...
Upgrade the speakers -:
1. Front tweeters (done) Alpine 6066 HD
2. Front component Alpine 6066 HD (crossover) driving the front tweeters
3. Front door, Midrange
4. Rear door, Bass
5. Rear side of seat, Midrange, (crossover driving rear tweeters)
6. Rear tweeters
7. Subwoofer, Rear armrest, Alpine SWS-2045 8 inch
Install 2 Amps -:
5 Channel Amp Phoenix Gold QX500.5, will drive the front and rear components & the centre subwoofer. The subwoofer will also be controled by LPL44, remote Bass gain controller installed next to the gear selector. (pic below)
4 Channel Amp Alpine MRV-F300, will drive via the Field controller the Midrange (front door) and the Bass (rear door) the 7 Band EQ will be installed into the front panel passenger side. (pic below)

I think the use of the cigar lighter **** is a great idea, BUT, and please don't take offense, I would not flush mount the Alpine piece to the dash panel, could you hide it somewhere and use a remote ?

Hi Johnny
I want to change the **** that's all I had at the time as I took out the cigarette lighters front and rear and replaced them with flush USB charger, Im looking for a small **** like on the side mirror switch. If any on has a old switch that doesn't work id love the **** off it, LoL I'm in the uk but id pay for the postage ...
Yes I did think about installing it somewhere else and did have a good look but I have no other place than to stick it in the boot, but then changing the sound would be a pain in the butt, theres no remote for the unit.
Any further thoughts Johnny ... ?
